reading this sounds like some one a bit up there self no offence i dont care if the bloke next to me sent 200 birds atleast it keeps my costs down and i have a guy in my club sent 40 ybs i sent 6 and i came 2nd first time every racing ?? so whats the diffence ?

when racing gets above a certain distance numbers dont count as much as when sprinting,but a man sending a large team against the small team fancier will allways have the advantage in sprint racing,how many times have ourselves clocked the pigeons we dont fancy, how many times have we had the one turn wonders well the man who sends a hundred has nintey times more chances of the one turn wonders than the man sending ten jmo.

I have no problem how many we fly against i am confident we will still pick up prizes,and you could say we pulled our sockes above our heads last year but the big team flyer will allways hold the advantage over the small team man imo

yes we all have quality and yes they are increasing their chances by sending larger teams
but it costing them 4x the amount to send them
so it takes them 4x longer to recoup there loses so if i win i'm racing fer nowt for 4 weeks

If people want to send big teams of pigeons thats their chioce its great for the clubs and feds IMO. I had a big team of babys last year and i hated it,

I WENT TO 3 CHANNEL RACES LAST SEASON WITH THE SNFC SENDING 1 PIGEON TO EACH GOT ON THE RESULT IN 2 RACES (YPRES & TOURS) AND MISSED THE MESSAC RESULT BY 3 HOURS MY POINT IS JUST WORRY ABOUT YOUR OWN PIGEONS NOT HOW MANY ANYONE ELSE SENDS AS I DONT CARE ABOUT THEM WHEN MY DOO HITS THE LANDING BOARD

the biggest percentage of pigeons in anyones loft will never make the grade compared to a small percentage that will.

a person sending 50 birds will have many more hurdles to overcome than someone sending 10.

to name just a few would be...
he will have more attacks percentage by hawks!!
he will have provided the nat/fed with finances more than the guy with 10.!!
the food he will have fed prior to the race would have cost him 5 times as much!!
and if he pays for training with someone 5 times as much

so in theory the person with a larger amount of birds has it harder.
and as long as he/she pays what he/shes, sending then they have every right to send.

thats fair play but if the guy in your club had to pick 6 out of his 40 agains your 6 bet ya would ov gettn more cards the bigger flyers are gettn bigger and more profesional plus alot are going in to multipule partners i know if a good flyer sends 50 and another good flyer sends 15 my money would always be on the 50 man but the 15 man will get his days tho jmo
