In my own club I always want to beat Alex Rae.Last year I was only infront of him once O/B&Y/B Fed/Club racing although I did manage it twice in the SNFC.
Considering he has no stock birds and usually winter around 30 in total his achievements in Club and Fed last year were remarkable.
We train our birds together taking them time about, 3 days a weak,so our training is exactly the same.
Alex is always telling me my birds are carrying too much weight at the beginning of the season so this winter I am trying to do something about this.
Time will tell but hopefully I will do a bit better this year after following his advice.

Who in your area do you beleive are winning well against the Odds at Club/Fed and National Level and have they helped you to improve your own standards.
i think any fanciers who are west of you and continue to not only compete but also put up top performances at fed/national level are worth more than a mention!!!

King Billy and Aldo have won well in Newmains over the last fiew years against the odds.
I would have to agree with that but you cannot rule out J.Lawrie &Son who have come on leeps and bounds since 2009 and were just pipped at the post over the last couple of seasons.

I would have to agree with that but you cannot rule out JIM MCCLEAN who have come on leeps and bounds since 2009 and were just pipped at the post over the last couple of seasons.
